Microsoft Dynamics NAV Developer's Toolkit Being Discontinued as of October 1, 2011.

Microsoft ended support for the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Developer Toolkit (NDT) in January 2010. Accordingly, Microsoft has decided to discontinue sale of the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Developer’s toolkit -Source Analyzer and Developer’s Toolkit – Compare & Merge modules to customers via the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Price list and SPLA effective October 1, 2011.

Instead, Microsoft will focus its developer tool investments on building these functionalities in the Role Tailored Client. In the meantime, Microsoft encourages partners and customers who need functionality that can handle Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 objects to explore alternative tools already available in the market. Examples include the Merge Tool from mergetool.com (http://www.mergetool.com/ ) or the Object Manager from Idyn (http://www.idyn.nl/).

Partner Demonstration and Development Licenses

Microsoft Dynamics NAV Partner Demonstration and Development licenses will continue to allow access to the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Developer’s toolkit - Source Analyzer and Developer’s Toolkit – Compare & Merge modules to ensure Partners are able to support existing customers as needed.
